Metals Stocks: Gold futures fall more than 1% as dollar gains and oil drops

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Gold futures fell more 1% early Tuesday, as strength in the U.S. dollar and declining oil prices brought pressure to bear on investment demand for the precious metal.
